These terms apply to factden.com and to any data, feeds, samples or custom work FactDen ("we") provides. By using the site or our data, you agree to them.
1. What we provide
Structured data compiled from publicly available sources: public reviews and ratings, public prices and availability, public job postings, public company-register records and public business listings. We do not provide personal mobile numbers, personal email addresses, owner or director contact details, dates of birth or government ID numbers. See Data sources & compliance.
2. Licence
Data you receive from us is licensed for use within your own organisation. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish it as a dataset without our written agreement.
3. Prohibited uses
You must not use our data to:
- send spam or make unsolicited calls or messages, or breach TRAI's do-not-disturb rules;
- profile, track or re-identify individuals, or combine it with other data to obtain personal contact details;
- break India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, or any other applicable law;
- break the terms of the websites the data comes from;
- commit fraud, harassment or any other unlawful act.
4. Feeds and custom work
For data feeds, bulk lists and custom work, we may verify your business identity before providing data, and we may decline any request.
5. Accuracy
Data is provided "as is" from public sources. It may contain errors or be out of date, and we do not guarantee that it is complete or fit for a particular purpose. Check anything important against the original source.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
7. Suspension
We may suspend or stop providing data to anyone who breaks these terms or uses our data unlawfully.
8. Correction and removal requests
Anyone can ask us to correct or remove information about them. See Data sources & compliance.
9. Third-party platforms
Our self-serve tools run on Apify; your use of Apify is also governed by Apify's own terms. Some links to Apify are affiliate links.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
