Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data FactDen ("we") collects through factden.com, why, and the choices you have. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the site and reply to you, and we handle it in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What we collect, and why
- Contact form: your name, email, topic and message - only to reply to you.
- Free-sample requests: your work email and, if you choose, your company and use case - only to send you the sample and reply to follow-up questions.
- Newsletter (India Incorporation Report): your email - only to send the monthly report. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Emails you send us: whatever you include - only to respond.
- Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referrers, country and browser type. It uses no cookies and does not track you across sites; we use it only to understand aggregate traffic.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the one you gave it for.
Who processes it for us
Web3Forms (form delivery), MailerLite (newsletter) and Cloudflare (hosting, security and cookieless traffic statistics). Each handles data only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Form messages and sample requests: up to 24 months after our last exchange. Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: aggregate statistics only, per Cloudflare's standard retention.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe), or nominate someone to act for you. Email [email protected] with the subject "Data request"; we reply within 7 days and act within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
The data our products provide
Our products work only with publicly available data: public reviews and ratings, public job postings, public prices, public company-register records, and public business listings. We do not collect or provide personal mobile numbers, personal email addresses, owner or director contact details, dates of birth, PAN or Aadhaar.
